Piaohong (Allen) Wang 王飄鴻

I am currently a senior researcher at OPPO Research Institute. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), co-advised by Prof. Zhicong Lu (now at George Mason University) and Prof. Jiawei Ma. I was also fortunate to receive invaluable guidance in academics and personal life from Prof. Liangliang Cao (IEEE Fellow and now Chair Professor in PolyUHK) in OPPO Research Institute during my doctoral studies. My research lies at the intersection of human-centered AI, model reasoning, and personalized human-model interaction. I focus on designing reasoning frameworks and training paradigms that make model behavior more effective, adaptive, and personalized. Previously, I spent two years conducting academic research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), specializing in user interface design and usability studies. During my Ph.D., I interned at OPPO Research Institute, NetEase ThunderFire UX Research Center, and the Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data (SRIBD). Guided by a problem-driven research philosophy, I aim to bridge theoretical advances in AI with real-world user needs, ensuring that my work leads to tangible, human-centered improvements.
